Description

Book 2 in the ESSA High Series!

Jazzy has always had Bean.

Through every hard day, every meltdown, every moment that the world felt too loud, her Emotional Support Stuffed Animal has been right there by her side. So when something happens to Bean, it feels like the ground drops out from under her.

Her friends rally around her the way only ESSA High friends can. But at home it's harder. Her parents are busy, her big brother gets all the attention, and no matter how she tries, Jazzy can't make her mum understand why a stuffed dog means so much.

With her twelfth birthday coming up, she doesn't feel much like celebrating. And as the feelings pile up with nowhere to go, Jazzy's anxiety starts to get the better of her.

Can she find a way to be understood, before it all becomes too much?

Jazzy's story is for every kid who has ever felt like the people at home just don't get it.

"I love my parents. They try to understand me and how I am 'different' from my brother. But they don't fully understand how bad my anxiety is. I was only diagnosed as being autistic last year, along with ADHD and anxiety. I struggled a lot in school and found it hard to make friends. Thankfully, things are easier at ESSA High! I just wish my home life could improve, too."

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is an Emotional Support Stuffed Animal (ESSA)?

An Emotional Support Stuffed Animal is a plushie that provides genuine comfort, emotional regulation and sensory support for neurodivergent children and adults, anxious kids and anyone who needs something soft to hold onto. Our ESSAs come with optional vests and accessories that signal their important role. Similar to how an assistance dog wears a vest. They are for anyone carrying big feelings, of any age.

2. What size accessories fit this plushie?

Every product page includes a sizing guide in the description with direct links to the right size vest, boots, clothing and collar and leash for that specific plushie. Check the Accessory Size Guide section above. If you are still unsure, email us at hello@littlepawsplushies.com and we will help you choose.

3. Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we ship internationally to most countries from Adelaide, South Australia. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your order's weight. Please note that international orders may be subject to import duties or taxes charged by your country. UK orders under £135 are duty-free. USA tariffs are charged at checkout. We are unable to ship to Russia or Ukraine.

4. What is your returns policy?

We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in their original packaging and in the same condition as received. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and original shipping fees are non-refundable. If your item arrives faulty or damaged, we will cover all return shipping costs. Email hello@littlepawsplushies.com to begin a return.

5. How do I wash my plushie?

Most plushies in our range are surface wash only — wipe gently with a damp cloth and allow to air dry. Do not machine wash or immerse in water. Warmies should never be immersed in water — surface clean only with a lightly damp cloth. Check the product description for specific care instructions for your plushie.
